This was by far the most unprofessional interview I have ever passed. The interviewer had no background in the field, so when asking technical questions he was clearly just reading from a list of keywords and couldn’t understand any explanation beyond that. While lack of expertise is somewhat understandable, the real issue was his rude and arrogant behavior. He reacted poorly, used inappropriate language, and seemed more interested in trying to humiliate me than actually assessing my knowledge. Even a basic introductory course in the field would have made it obvious that my answers were correct.
On top of this, he called me only five minutes before the scheduled time to reschedule, which I accommodated. Yet, when the interview finally began, he was unprepared and instead started with casual small talk, asking about my weekend plans. When I politely answered that I would plan after the interview, he went as far as to judge and criticize me for “not having plans.”
Overall, the interviewer’s conduct was unprofessional, disrespectful, and left a very negative impression of the company.
