I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (Dhaka) in Sep 2014
Interview
Pretty similar to other jobs. You submit your resume showing your interest. The company then review the resumes and shortlist some candidates based on the academic credentials and accomplishments. After that, the HR call the candidates for the interview. On the basis of the interview performances, the offers are made.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Citi (Yakarta) in Apr 2015
Interview
After failing the first interview, was referred to another project by the first interviewer. I was asked to introduce myself, wasn't asked about leadership experiences despite of the job description, was given an assumed situation and how I deal with it. Was given the impression that I got the job because the process didn't go through HR and the interviewer asked me to come by the HR office next week. I was contacted by phone by the HR a week later to fill out some forms. Phoned the HR two weeks later to get some explanation, they said the project manager needs to mail an approval letter and then the recruitment process can continue which takes about another 2 weeks and they will let me know when it's done. Never heard from them again ever since.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Citi (Seúl) in Apr 2015
Interview
Two phone interviews on personal fit questions. HR and biz line. No technicals but appeal positive energy. Citibank Korea is different entity. They also look for diversity. Show you are willing to work in any group to understand the banking business since every applicant will strictly prefer corporate banking. You can switch and move around once you get in.
