I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Citi (São Paulo, ) in Sep 2009
Interview
Process is long but well planned, and you´re told of that at start. You will have 3 rounds of tests - two in large teams (around 20 or 30 people - actually young people competing with yourself!). then you will have an individual knowledge test. then more two or three tests with smaller teams. Then another round with individual interviews with HR. Then a fourth round of interviews with senior managers at the bank. If you survived all of this, you´re there - congrats! Environment is good, and you get to know many decent and inspiring people along the way.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
As a team we had to develop a bank product that would be sell-able to young people as we were. A chellenging question to develop as a team, with people you did not know and that were ultimately your competitors.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Citi
Interview
1 HR interview, 2 article readings and group panel, and last round is with hiring manager.
HR and Hiring Manager are basic behavioral questions
Group panel needs critical thinking and prior research on the group from the Citi page.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you've handled data and what did you use this
First round interview was a 30 minute phone call with the questions you would expect. Tell me about yourself/ behavioral questions. Also should have some talking points on the industry.
5 to 6 people in a group interview - case study and business awareness. Have sufficient time to study the material. Last for 3 hours in Total. 2 interviewee would ask follow up questions. Quite causal.
