I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citi in Jan 2011
Interview
The interview in this company looks full of Nepotism. Regardless your skill, the interviewer would consider his side person. No wonder Citi is down and has very poor Java website
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Citi (New York, NY) in Jan 2010
Interview
The interview process was straight forward. The person on the phone seemed nice and friendly. The questions ranged from basic programming questions to some teaser-type of questions. I would recommend people to brush up on the fundamentals and pass on questions one does not know. Then the call ended with a statement that they are interview other people as well.
