Cognizant Programmer Analyst Trainee (PAT) interview questions

We had 3rounds. Round1: typical aptitude + programming basic (this was all MCQ) Round2: interview round. In this I was asked to code 'reverse a string' & explain how a heap sort works. Apart from this I was asked my subjective computer questions from SQL, Networking, DBMS, OS (all very basic) Round3: this was more of HR + documents providing rounds and less technical. Was asked 3basic or full form type question from a technical recruiter.

1. Introduce yourself 2. Two mechanical questions(which are very basic) 3. Two aptitude questions on Ratios and average 4. Program to execute(swapping of two numbers without using 3rd variable) 5. 15-20 questions on C language as I mentioned in my resume that I have learnt it so like what is variable, the difference between local and local&global variables, call by value and call by reference 6. infinite in the loop in C 7. what is a pointer 8. what is the use Of pointer 9. Have you any internships 10. what is your final year project
