Interview
I gave the AMCAT exam on the basis of which I was called to for an interview (off campus). There were 2 rounds- Technical & HR. In technical, I was asked questions about my stream of Engineering and some general questions regarding cellular technologies, their functioning. The Technical interview was 15 minutes long.
After that there was the HR round where I was just asked how had my experience been. I was also asked about my gap in education. The HR interview was 5 minutes long. There were 1500 candidates of which around 800 got selected.
The interviews were really simple, just prove yourself in the Technical Interview.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cognizant (Ahmedabad)
Interview
It was pretty simple. First a very easy test. Mostly based on the the quantitative aptitude and English verbal. According to me R S Aggarwal and some English newspaper reading would be good enough for this test. But one thing to consider is that time is everything. Especially quant. They expect that you solve 1 question in 1 minute and less.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They started asking about virtual function in c++ which was quite easy but it almost lasted about half an hour. Half hour of virtual function. Nothing ELSE. They just wanted to see whether i was able handle the pressure.
