I got this call from an agency after I had my resume uploaded on a job site.
They called me to a weekend interview.
I had a technical round for a project in location A.
Apparently, I cleared the round and, therefore, I had another round with the HR.
I was told I was selected and that I should get the offer in a few days.
After quite a few days, their HR called me and told me that they were not getting the kind of project I wanted in location A, so I would be placed in location B. Ok, I said.
After quite a few more days, I got a call from their HR that they would have another interview for location B!! I agreed, but a few days later, I got a call from location C instead. When I told the interviewer that I was not interested in location C, he was surprised. He also wasn't aware that I had already been selected. We decided to discontinue the interview process for obvious reasons.
A few more days later, I got yet another call from their HR complaining that I had not picked up the phone during my interview time. I explained that this was not true and that I had simply refused to go to location C. So, they said they'd have another interview scheduled for me for location B. I agreed.
A few days later, I got the call from location B, without any pre-schedule. on that day, somehow, not only was I disinterested in that company, I had grown tired. The interview was strongly technical and I would say I was average on that day. Again, when I mentioned I was already selected, this panel did not know of it.
Interestingly, I saw one thing common in all these panels. They were rude and thought they knew everything about that technology. They simply carried forth the air of a boss, just because they were on the interviewer's seat.
Add that to the disco-ordination and lack of communication with a prospective joinee, I have decided to keep away form this company.
