I applied online. I interviewed at Control Risks (Nueva Delhi) in May 2011
Interview
2 stages - I was given a written test where I had to write a short brief on 3 different countries. This was on email. I then had a formal interview for which I had to prepare a presentation on the political, security and operational risks to a mining company in my region. I then was grilled on this by a panel (on the phone, with the panel seated in the head office). I then had a second one on one interview with another senior manager in the region I was seeking to join.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Control Risks (Singapur) in Dec 2011
Interview
First round, an online technical test, with asp.net and Sql questions Second round, to put in presentation
Third with Senior Manager
The technical test was exhaustive. Second round, was rated on, how good were the communication skills and how original were the ideas.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Control Risks in Jun 2015
Interview
In sum, if you're not white, male and British, good luck. Taking a look at their employees on Linkedin explains a lot about this company and I wish I hadn't wasted my time. I applied online and received an email requesting an interview after one week. Had an interview a week after that with an analyst from the team and a rep from HR. For the second stage, I had to write an analytical report on a subject related to the position in a 2 hour period. Sent it back and received a confirmation email saying I would hear back after one week. Then silence after that. I followed up two weeks later with an email. No response. Then after another week, I tried calling the HR person I was in contact with, but again no response. The third and last email I sent before I gave up and accepted another job offer was to the analyst from the interview. No response from them either. Finally, after one month, I receive a standard "thanks but we decided to go in another direction" email.
