They will invite you in a group presentation which will consist of telling you the requirements of the job and if you have the right equipment to move forward to the next interview process.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DISH (Rochelle Park, NJ) in Jan 2019
Interview
I see why this company has such horrible reviews. I honestly feel as though I dogged a bullet. Interviewer asks the stupidest most irrelevant questions imaginable. If your hiring sales all that should matter is your past experience and your KPI’s (Key Performance Index). Proven track record of adding profits to the bottom line doesn’t seem to matter. They basically hire their friends and family rather than anyone who is actually qualified. They said they have a minimum closing ratio requirement of 55%. I maintain a closing ratio of over 75%-80% in furniture sales which is unheard of and they still passed on me! That kind of backwards decision making speaks volumes to whatever future headaches I might have avoided!

Question 1
Name a time you had a difficult customer. How did you handle it?
Dish reached out via e-mail to set up a phone interview within 2 weeks of applying. The process moved very quickly and the interviewers were very professional. Within a week after the initial phone interview I was invited in for an in-person interview.
