Interview
I had a 1 hour video interview with HR for a Senior Manager role in Consulting. It was pretty straightforward in general, except the HR person was very no-emotion person. He stressed me too much to make me tell an expected salary, afterwards I told him a figure and also highlighted that this is negotiable. A week later, I received a call saying that they liked me very much but the salary I mentioned was too high so they are declining my application. Then I asked him their price saying that I am ok to negotiate. He offered me whether a salary would work, I said no. Then he offered me 5k eur more, I again said no also as I do not want to negotiate like that not even having a first round interview with business. I found this very unprofessional.

- Very strong pressure on the expected salary figure
Thorough with good communication throughout the process. I first had a phone call with an initial screener. Then the hiring director, VP and MD. A few rounds. very standard questions. Usual prep required.
Clear interview process. Steps well explained. Candidate required to present a business case which felt a bit like providing free consulting. They were very good on p[roviding feedback ion interview performance and also getting back to candidate within the timescale they had promised

Initial interview was with an internal recruiter. Discussed my expectations in terms of role and salary. Went through my experience. Unclear about next steps, especially timelines.
Did explain that there will be 3 more interviews.
