I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Luxemburgo) in May 2019
Interview
The interview was pretty easy - background and current position questions. Apparently, you have to lie if you want the position. Honesty is not appreciated at all - you have to lie about your experience, your future plans and your applications elsewhere. I have told the truth and was rejected, without feedback. Also, the recruiter lied to me - she said that she needs to discuss my profile with her colleagues, but she updated the status in my account just instantly after the end of the call. Not even 30 seconds have been passed - I was logged in and I saw that the update was made immediately. Also, the recruiter had very bad English. She interviewed me 5 minutes in English and the rest of the time in French - she could barely speak English, with a lot of useless pauses. When I asked her about the next steps of the recruiting process, she hesitated and said that I will know them if I pass the phone interview. It was clear that she already had the answer, but they don't tell you directly and that makes the interview dehumanized. I could say that your result depends a lot on who is interviewing you and I was not lucky enough :).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions about your professional and educational background. Why Luxembourg? Why Deloitte? Have you applied to other countries? (I guess you should say "no" because she did not like when I said "Yes"). Briefly, prepare a beautiful lie for every possible question.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Deloitte (Luxemburgo) in May 2015
Interview
The interview was not so difficult, I had a phone call with HR dept, then with a manager and Partner.
They left me to talk about my self and my background, with normal questions (why Deloitte, why luxembourg); accounting question was about a purchase, then some question about audit process of receivable.
I got the job.
Good luck.
