I had a conversion interview after doing a spring week. It consisted of 3 one-on-one interviews - one technical, one motivational/behavioural, and one case study. It was, overall, a simple process.

Interview
I was selected for AVP position after clearing 5 rounds of interview. Offer details were also discussed with HR. After 2 days, I got a call from her and I was told that she is not able to proceed further with my application as there are some budget issues in the team (surprised to know that recruiter HR is not aware of budget 😀) and she told that there is a position under different hiring manager for that i have to go through couple of more interviews. They called me to the office for the same and I had a good discussion with new hiring manager and expectations were clearly set at the time of discussion. After the discussion I was told that “I am selected and share the documents asap and we will release your offer by tomorrow”. They also provided the job id and asked me to apply on the portal. After multiple follow-ups for 15 days, HR came back saying there is a budget issue in this team as well 😆 so she asked me to go through another technical discussion with some different hiring manager. I had a good discussion with new manager as well and was told the manager wants to discuss the expectations and will call me again in half an hour. After that they disappeared 😆. No response to phone calls, emails. I didn’t expect this kind of unprofessional behavior from the recruiter of such well reputed bank. Glad I didn’t get the offer. At least they should be honest to the candidates about the recruitment process. I wasted almost 45 days in this process.
