I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Discover in Sep 2018
Interview
I didn't make to onsite interview.
1. phone call with a recruiter. HR response very slow. I had interview with Discover before, other recruiter wasn't like this slow.
2. About 2 weeks later, I though I got rejected. I received HR's email and say the team would like to phone interview me.
3. Phone interviewed with 2 ppl in 30min. After talking with them, I believe this role really only use EXCEL for most of the projects. When I said I do have SQL, SAS, etc skills, they weren't very happy to hear that. They believe I was overqualified and will get bored with this job.
I heard back after another 2 weeks with a rejected letter. This position was reposted again on Discover Career website.
