I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Discover (Riverwoods, IL) in Oct 2014
Interview
Good pre-interview with HR. Overly complicated process with hiring managers, multiple discussions with the same people and a pointless meeting with the company President. Should have seen red flags based on interviews -- overly cautious process and clear "upselling" of the job, promoting the positive parts of the position while hiding the far more annoying parts. Didn't feel like I was hired for the job that was advertised.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Discover (Phoenix, AZ) in Aug 2012
Interview
You apply and then you get sent a assessment that includes listening to calls and behavioral questions. You then get a e-mail saying if you get to move forward with the process or not. I had a wonderful experience with the recruiter she e-mailed me to set up a in person. After that I then interviewed with the hiring manager and got offered the job on the spot. They also make you take a drug test that same day in the nurse office.
