I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Discover (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2019
Interview
Fast, first an HR email asking for time to have a call with hiring manager, the hiring manager call for about 30 min was easy, did not really ask though questions, and then received a call that was scheduled for an interview onsite scheduled to meet with 3 directors, 2 days ahead of the interview, the HR called saying they changed the format to a panel with 2 people.
During interview onsite, the room had a broken wall and could hear people laughing and talking loud outside, preventing the panel to hear my answers, the hiring manager did not show interest to my answers when i was talking since the start and cut the interview 40 min short, i had a feeling they have already a candidate in mind, if that was the case, I would have appreciate it if they cancelled the onsite.

Interview
Recruiter was great. Was asked to meet the team. Team was overall good except for the team VP. She was basically argumentative and horrible experience. Had no interest in working for her group afterwards. Overall pay is low, low is the suburbs, and team has little experience in what their doing.
5 people, very technical 45 minutes each. Gets done in a day and then they fly you back. Prior background is very important. HR interview is easy and more focused on bahavior questions.
