I made it till the final round of interview which consisted of 7 round for 45 mins to an hour each. Interviewers and the process was pretty good. Only thing was I never got a feedback even after investing almost 7 hours + time in previous round. I understand if they get more better candidate than me but please at least have the courtesy to inform the candidates who were not selected. I even followed up with the recruiter and still no response. Too bad !!

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Duo Security (San Mateo, CA) in Dec 2018
Interview
I applied online and received an invite for a phone screen within a day.
The phone screen was rough, but not in the way you'd guess for an engineering role. The recruiter was cold and made it obvious that I was wasting his time. I thought maybe he is testing me to see if I can stay calm on a bad call as this role is client facing, so I remained professional despite this negative vibe.
He asked why I wanted to work at Duo, so I gave him a few macro reasons to begin with. During this answer he interrupted me and asked me to be more specific. I responded with the specifics of my technical skills, but followed with a question of my own. The job description did not mention specific languages used at Duo, it only mentioned Web Protocols, DNS, and a few other broad topics. So I asked if he could fill me in on the languages they use. He responded "I'm not a technical recruiter so I wouldn't know that." Hmm... so why did you just condescendingly ask me to be more specific?
The call continued with dead space and monotone voice from the recruiter. He seemed more concerned with letting me know I'm wasting his time than he did with getting to know a bit about me.
I ended up discussing my skills and interests to fill the silence. After a few minutes of me talking and him saying nothing, the recruiter said we were running out of time (the total call time was about ten minutes).
Surprisingly, he told me they would be moving forward with my application and I should expect a technical assignment in 48 hours. He said if I didn't receive the assessment, to send him a reminder.
Two days pass, no assessment. So I sent the first reminder. No response from the recruiter.
A week passes, I send another follow up. Instantly after this follow up, I get a notification from a generic Duo email saying I will not be moving forward in the process. The recruiter never had the courtesy to respond to any of my emails after he specifically told me to follow up with him if he forgot to send me the assessment.
I have had some rough interview experiences before, but this one takes the cake.
