EPAM Systems Senior Network Engineer interview questions

I applied through Linkedin, HR emailed and scheduled me for the initial screening then I moved on to the second interview, a technical interview with one of their employees. It took an hour grilling me with technical questions and at the end only to find out that they are looking for someone with AWS proficiency then the person who interviewed me is not the hiring manager nor even will be my teammate nor will work with the same clientele. It turns out that they just put you through this type of technical interview with one of their technical employees who works with one of their clients to gauge what and how are your technical skillset because EPAM is a managed services provider and they need to know where do they think you fit and submits your profile to their client. If the client likes you then you get a reply if not do not expect to hear back from them again just like what happened to me. So your application results is contingent if the client accepts it but I suggests you just submit the profile to the client and they decide because it just a waste of time for the applicants and it is your HR recruiters job to find out the correct candidate.
