EY focuses more on the person and whether your values align with the companies values than prior industry knowledge. The whole process was aimed at finding the best in the interviewee.
There were 3 phases to the interview. The first phase was an online assessment. Once that is done, you are invited to an in-person assessment center. The assessment center is broken into 2 parts, a group case study and a 1 on 1 interview with a manager / Director

Interview
It was a campus recruitment process. The selection consisted of an online test, 1 HR round and 2 Technical Interviews. In technical rounds they mostly ask fundamental accounting and basic HR questions and are taken by the CA.
