I was reached out to by a recruiter. I had the conversation and told the recruiter I wasn’t interested. He pushed and contacted me multiple times and said they would match my salary and PTO. I agreed to do the next step which was a video interview. I was then contacted by the recruiter again asking for me to fill out a form and he would be back in contact in two days. I never heard from him so I reached back out a week later and then a week after that. It’s been over a month now and have not heard a word. Since I am also a recruiter, I understand that following up candidates can be the last thing on your list to do . But when someone reaches out twice I at the very least respond will respond to the email even if I don’t have an update. It’s also frustrating that they require a video interview as a second step and that takes a lot of time and effort and to not get any follow up seems very unprofessional to me. After seeing the recent news stories on EY and having to answer all the interview questions about metrics, I wouldn’t want to move forward with the interview process anyways.

Question 1
Talk through your skills. How many connects do you have on LinkedIn. They discussed the team is very much in infancy and they are ramping up their internal processes but there is a lot of work and a lot of potentials.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Fortaleza, ) in May 2018
Interview
I was recommended by a current employee and was sent a video interview request, whereby I was asked to talk to myself on video, responding to questions that came up on the screen. I had no conversation with a Recruiter about the role until I rang her and asked about the role. The job descriptions didn't represent the questions I was being asked via the video app, so I called the Recruiter who sent me the interview request to ask her to clarify what the role was.
The video interview allows 4 tries, unfortunately, once you've answered 4 times, the 4th answer is automatically submitted, so if you liked your response to the question better in try 3, there is no option to go back and submit that answer instead.
I communicated with the Recruiter a couple of times via email, with two small conversations, both of which I initiated. Once the video interview was sent, I never heard from her again, never was given a courtesy call to close the loop.
