Overall very straightforward and managed to add different layers of conversation. Focused on past experiences and how I solved problems in my previous roles. Good experience overall. Adding more words.
I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2024
Interview
Interview process, was lengthy, but not difficult. Hiring manager, Senior Leader and Cross functional. Focused on business acumen, data, industry trends and experience. However the company told me they were making me an offer. They began negotiations and agreed to relocation, upper portion of salary band and a sign on bonus. I asked them to please send me the offer in writing which they refused. They called me back and said they were not offering any of the sweetners, just the base salary. I again asked if they would send the offer so I could review. They never sent the offer. I followed up and they sent me a generic boiler plate email rejection denying having ever made the offer and saying they went with another candidate. At no point did I ever say no, nor was I ever given a timeline to accept. I asked for a few days to think about the offer which I was told was fine. Abhorrent way to do business.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Dublín, Dublín) in May 2024
Interview
Had a recruiter call, then the hiring manager call.
The company and the position seem to be just great, however, the manager is something "above and beyond".
The manner the interview was held is smth I had never seen in over a year — totally not interested, bored, making facial expressions, interrupting, poor connection on her side, not answering my questions in the way they were asked, saying that this is "obvious". Ultimately, acting to show how high importance she is, and how little I am.
It seemed this person was guided solely on emotions depending on how her day went, and she is very normal with treating people poorly.
I would never want to work with her, and I do believe an essential business education is mandatory for managing people, which she lacks judging by her linkedin profile.
You could do better, Expedia.
Get rid of toxicity, treat people well.
