Interview
During my recent call with the recruiter, the discussion was primarily focused on salary and notice period, rather than on my experience and skills. When I inquired about the salary range, the recruiter mentioned it would be based on experience but did not provide a specific range. He acknowledged that my experience matched well with the role and mentioned he would present my CV to the hiring manager. However, shortly after the call ended, I received a notification that my application would not be proceeded with.
I wish the recruiter had focused more on my experience, background, and skill set during the call. Additionally, greater transparency and honesty regarding the desired experience and salary range would have been appreciated. This would have allowed for a more constructive and informative conversation. I am also unsure if my CV was actually presented to the hiring manager, which leaves me with unanswered questions about the application process.
HireVue, 2 hour interview online with technical questions. One hour spent with two different PMs, one is a case study on product design and management. Other hour is basic behavioral questions on company values and basic role outline.
