I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Dublín, Dublín) in Dec 2017
Interview
After applying online I got a link to complete a video interview with HireArt. This was easy - you can train as much as you want, find a right angle, right lightning..etc..
After that I got an invitation to an on-site interview. There were 2 managers, I was told from the very beginning to relax and take as much as needed time to answer the questions.
The questions were pretty difficult. At first I was asked about my previous experience and then there was some role playing. For example, try to convience a hotel owner to use Expedia services.
Expedia has one of the best HR Managers. Not only he was keeping me updated and asked about interview, but also gave me a feedback!
All in all I had a feeling that they are looking for an agressive sales person and not a peoples person.
It was a very teaching moment anyway.

Question 1
Role-play scenarios like: "Sell me Expedia".
How do you negotiate.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Hong Kong) in Feb 2018
Interview
Applied online. Received the digital interview invitation in a few days. After finishing the screening interview, received email from a HR coordinator to arrange a video interview with HR Advisor. Then I was notified that I did not get into the next round.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Londres, Inglaterra) in Dec 2017
Interview
1.- An email will be sent to you to participate in a video interview. no human contact
2.- You will have to download HireView App into your computer and start a video interview of about 6 questions. There is nobody on the other side of the camera, and you can train yourself before going live with basic questions.
When you decide to go live, you will read the questions on the screen and you will have 2 minutes to think about the answer.
You will only have 2 opportunities to answer, meaning that if you are not entirely happy with your answer, you can only re do it once.
Again, no human contact whatsoever
3.- If you pass the video interview, they will send you an email to meet in the office, and the interview will last approximately 2.5 hours and you will meet 5 managers who will ask you different kind of questions, hypothetical situations and role plays.
I did not get the job after all, and I was not given any feedback either on why I did not get it, which to me looked pretty bad on the company, because, not only you will not have practically any human contact until your final interview (which I find very uncomfortable and not professional coming from a company that states to have integrity) but also, after all the time spent in the process, they do not tell you even why you are not hired.
I asked for feedback when I have been rejected and the HR manager never came back to me.
For this company you will be a number rather than a person. I had this company in a better position that it actually demonstrate to be .
