I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Brisbane) in Nov 2015
Interview
I got a phone interview through an employee referral. I spent a lot of time preparing for it as I had read that Expedia interviews are not easy. At the end of the phone interview, the lady asked me about my visa status. Even though I had a work visa, she said I couldn't be considered for the position as I was not a permanent resident of Australia. If they had such a strong policy, they should have had it in the position description or asked me the question at the beginning of the interview. It was a complete waste of her time and mine!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group
Interview
Long. Several phone interviews, followed by an in-person interview. Phone screens were mostly basic questions about your background and behavioral questions. Met with several members of the team, where questions were more difficult and complex - trying to gauge the way you think.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2012
Interview
phone interview with HR and then an interview with the team of managers and associates in person to judge for fit with culture as well as experience and skills. Then a final interview on phone with the director to follow up with mostly similar questions and job functions discussed.
