Expedia Group Senior Forecast Analyst interview questions

Applied online and recruiter emailed me to scheduled a screen and later on a phone call with hiring manager. A week later, got invited to onsite in the office. Met with about 5 people . Nice conversations and positive experience up till here. Follow up with recruiter the following week, and get a response saying they will not make a decision until later. couple days later, Someone from the cross functional teams reaching out saying they feel like I would be a better fit for another team. The manager saying HR will be reaching out later. And, I never get any communication since then, follow up twice with manager and HR, no one responses. Just found out by looking online application status that I was not selected. I noticed recent layoffs in Expedia through news, not sure if that is why i get no responses after. But ok experience, it would be helpful if they could just send me an email let me know what is going on. ..
