Express Employment Professionals interview questions

I applied for an HR role, and then was invited to come in for an interview and to fill out paperwork. I did, and then was told that they had nothing to offer. Months later, I got called about possible factory work, and said I was not looking for a laborer role. When asked what I was looking for, I said HR, and was transferred to the manager for a phone interview. That was great, and I was invited to come for an in-person interview for one of two internal positions. I met with two people (branch manager and operations consultant). They said they liked me and I would hear soon. It took two weeks to hear from them, and they said they genuinely liked me, but realized that afterwards, the role required a particular experience I don't have. I was referred to another of their offices, but that office has not been helpful at all.

Not personable and with an overly corporate tone that did not match the types of jobs that I was applying for and/or the types of jobs that were even available.
