I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (Leeds, England) in Nov 2017
Interview
Got a phone call from a very friendly recruiter called William Rayner. He asked me if I was interested about the program and that I would have to commit on a 16 week training period if I successfully passed the interview stages. The first stage was an online video interview which did not go so well for me since I struggle with ADD and my answers were not so much on point. However I got a phone call the next day from William saying that he would pass the video interview for me as long as I do my best to prepare for the 2nd stage which is basically the assessment period. I did not continue further though due to personal reasons.
Overall it was a pleasant experience with a top notch recruiter who was friendly and really helpful throughout the process.

Question 1
-What would be your approach if you were working on a project that you knew a member of another team was far more knowledgeable about than yourself?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (New York, NY) in Nov 2017
Interview
Initially, had a phone interview with the company, then a video strengths-based interview asking general interview questions such as "what would you do in this situation" etc. Afterwards, spent a day at the headquarters for assessments and more interviews. Assessments covered various topics with different lengths with 3 interviews after. First, was the Technical interview more geared to ask about knowledge in software as well as asking direct programming questions about Java. Other interviews were simple behavioral and logical ones asking general interview questions as well. FDM got back to me within two days but unfortunately not with an offer for their academy program.

Interview
The assessment day consists of several hour long exams, an aptitude test and three short interviews. For the tests revise gcse level mathematics and basic set theory and you will be fine. The interviews are 'strength based' so they will focus on your personality rather than competencies. you can't thoroughly prepare for this but as examples are always helpful i would suggest thinking of some specific experiences you may want to share with them
