I applied online. I interviewed at FDM Group (Londres, Inglaterra) in Sep 2024
Interview
I applied for the London-based graduate scheme. The interview process happens after I completed 2 tests, which included a technical skill test and a game-based aptitude/behavioural test run by Arctic Shores. I received an invitation to a phone screening interview, and during the call I was offered an in-person interview date. The in-person interview includes a short introduction talk about FDM, afterwards I sat in a room with the other candidates and waited to be called in for interviews. Each candidate gets interviewed by 3 people (CV blind) and gets asked 4-6 strength-based questions. Because there are only a handful of interviewers and a room full of candidates, I had to wait about 30-40 mins between each interview. I did get a congratulations I have passed all the tests and interviews from my recruiter, but apparently they don't have a start date yet. I was updated by my recruiter last week and they said there still isn't a start date, and it has been a bit more than a month.

Interview
The first screening is a HackerRank test. The coding tasks are fairly straightforward; however, you won't be able to access any code documentation during the test, and the online editor can be a bit laggy at times.
If you are successful at the assessment, you will receive a phone call with no prior notification, so make sure to pick up calls from unknown numbers. During this call I was asked if I was available to work at both the Sydney and Melbourne offices, as this was a requirement to move forward with the role. In other words, you have to be willing to relocate to be a successful applicant.

Interview
Don't interview with this unprofessional company. Completed the interview with no response until 3 months later saying they thought I was just a mediocre candidate despite their engineers saying that I did pretty well in the technical assessments. The reason? HR simply didn't think I was good... from a 5 min generic interview asking basic questions from my resume. Better off working at other companies and saving your time. Would rather be jobless than work here. Good riddance!
First round is a phone interview with basic questions.
Second round same like 1st but online on a zoom call with some generic tech questions with HR.
Third round is an in person half-day interview with three rounds. First is a 5 min HR interview, then group interview, and lastly technical assessment.

Interview
A simple virtual interview on teams with a recruiter and one other interviewer. The interview is fairly simple and very non-technical whatsoever. It is more to assess your behavioural traits rather than your technical ability.
