I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at FDM Group (Glasgow, Escocia) in Dec 2017
Interview
Contacted by one of their recruiters, video interview, assessment day. Pretty standard strength based questions. Easy Maths test, Logical & Verbal Reasoning Tests. Offered Job. Recruiter's description of contract / what the company would expect was very different from reality. Watch out for that.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (New York, NY) in Mar 2017
Interview
1) Phone Interview - Interviewer is nice and polite. He's trying to assess your compatibility with them. He wants to know if you're self motivated, if you're willing to work hard enough to get to places. Particularly, he's concerned if you're able to relocate.
2) On site interview - This process takes the whole day. Super long. Food provided though. About 2 hours of introduction and briefing. Then comes about 2 hours or so of coding on their provided tablet. Then another round robin interview with different hiring manager, assessing you skills and strengths.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied via LinkedIn. Received a phone screen from the recruitment manager and was scheduled to do a video interview within three days. I did it and was followed up with another phone call from the same recruiter and scheduled for an in-person interview. I arrived there, was introduced to the recruitment manger, he showed me around the office. Afterwards, one of the Account Managers interviewed me for about 45mins, then the VP for 30 mins, after which I meant with the Sales Team Lead and s couple of members of the team. It was a nice cordial and friendly experience and interaction general, was quite relaxed.
