First, we started a phone screen. The recruiter was really nice, energetic and made me feel comfortable. Next was an interview with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview. They seemed to make an effort to set me at ease, and the tone was conversational.

Interview
I applied online and got contacted by a recruiter the next day. Easy interview over the phone and she said she would have the HR Manager interview me shortly. A week later an interview is setup over the phone. The HR Manager calls me and our interview gets started.
I can barely hear her and while she is speaking I can hear car horns honking. I tell her about this and she tells me she is on a hands-less phone while driving, but to continue. Umm, let's turn the tables, if I as the applicant, were driving during a phone interview how professional would that look? So, it becomes clear to me she is not taking this seriously as she is obviously not taking any notes and seemed extremely distracted.
I withdrew my application as I have never seen such a rude HR Manager.
