Ford Motor Company Product Development Engineer interview questions

The process was pretty standard. There was the individual interview and some written scenario-based tests, followed by a group exercise where each person was given background into the situation and their own unique bit of information which they had to discuss with the group as a whole. There was nothing particularly out of the ordinary, and there were no questions as such asked about the company, other than general questions about the automotive industry.

Applied for the position online. A 10-15min telephone screening with a recruiter shortly after applying, followed-up with a 3 panel face-to-face interview at their Talent Center. The interview was very well structured with relative situational questions asked, broken up to two sections: technical experience and behavioural tendencies. Questions could be difficult to answer if work experience is limited. After the interview, lunch was provided and you are given the option to visit the Ford Rouge tour.
