Online tests followed by telephone interview, followed by assessment day. Assessment day involved a 1-1 interview, a maths retest, a group exercise and a report. They gave plenty of preparation and advice for this, including a preparatory phone call with an assessor and a current trainee.

After completing an online application, there were some standard numerical and verbal reasoning assessments. After passing these, there was a 30-minute telephone interview with someone from HR (competency-based questions). Following a successful interview is the assessment centre (virtual in this case) consisting of a case study exercise, numerical re-test, group exercise and a 1-on-1 partner interview.
