I applied online. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2018
Interview
Applied online. My background is a bit non-traditional, so I was sure to include a cover letter, which the recruiter said really helped to connect the dots for him and allowed me to move forward in the interview process. There was a phone screen, which was professional, but warm and extremely transparent (in a good way).
So happy to hear you had a positive interview experience with us! We really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, and we wish you the best of luck on your job search.

Interview
Was told that I didn’t have the “drive” or “fire” to be a good fit. Didn’t know people with laid back attitudes don’t work hard. Glassdoor’s mid level managers are just looking for easy people to boss around who will say yes to anything with a smile on their face. Keep hiring kids that are overly bubbly and energetic for interviews... They’ll burn out and quit in less than a year anyway. They also seemed to bring me in when they already had a candidate picked. Thanks for wasting my time guys!
