3 rounds , in which there are two technical round and one HR round. Technical rounds were mostly focused on resume and college projects. Second round consisted oops concepts and pointers.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs
Interview
Passed their HackerRank online assessment - it was a very easy problem. Did a phone screen with an engineer. He had a very thick accent, but I was given a straightforward (easy-medium difficulty) dynamic programming problem and a trivially easy second problem. Get very good as I reached optimal solutions on both.
And then…radio silence! No email about timeline, nor updates, until nearly 2 months later! I receive an email from another person from HR asking when I can schedule an interview with different engineering teams for what I believe is the virtual on-site interview. I politely decline at this point.
This was probably the most convoluted and unnecessarily-painful-for-the-candidate interview pipeline I’ve participated in.
