I applied online. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Salt Lake City, UT) in Sep 2020
Interview
Applied and took about a month to hear back then set up an interview the following week after. Was sent with a coderpad link through the phone. This person and every other person I interviewed with had a very strong Indian accent and they were very difficult to understand. After passing the first round I had a second coderpad link interview a couple of weeks later. After that I had a third coder pad interview and was rejected a day after. All interviews I did well on and answered all questions even with language barrier. On the third interview the interviewer messed up and gave me incorrect test cases even though my code worked correctly. I coded a different way and got it working but he kept pushing for a different way which I was unable to get even though my first solution was the most optimal. After emailing back after my rejection I explained what happened but was treated incredibly rudely by head of recruiting in Salt Lake City Anastasia GoldBurg. It seems that Goldman Sachs skimps out on hiring quality recruiters.
