I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (San Jose, CA) in Nov 2016
Interview
There were first round interviews. The interview entailed simple, straight forward, and conversational questions. Then there were also second round interviews. All interviews were in person and one-on-one. I got an email a few weeks after the interview with the details of my offer
The first round of interviews was a group interview with four people, followed by an English essay. Neither the interview questions nor the essay topic had anything to do with auditing, and the interview questions seemed to be fixed; some interviewees even knew the questions beforehand. The interview process at Grant Thornton typically involves multiple stages, including an initial phone screening, a behavioral interview, and a technical or case-based assessment. Candidates may also meet with managers or partners. The process emphasizes cultural fit, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, often concluding with a final round or offer discussion
