I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Bengaluru) in Jun 2023
Interview
Applied through the senior director's referral. My interview was conducted online through the MS team software. The interview session was not at all satisfactory because there were technical lagging difficulties that prevented me from speaking clearly thereby losing my focus completely. In addition, it appeared that the interviewer was in a rush to finish, he was not interested in listening to my work experience and straightaway jumped to the technical part. Furthermore, he was not cooperative or friendly throughout the entire interview session making my interview even worse. Moreover, he appears to lack a lot of experience in interview conducting. I have faced many interviews in the past but never had such an unpleasant experience like this one as I always shared a good rapport with every interviewer. Although the HR was decent & professional & quick in responding to calls & emails. I don't want to sound negative but this was my interview experience with GT Indus sadly.

Last question he asked, any questions you have (although I asked many questions about the job role & the company and he answered them very vaguely and hurriedly knowing that he would not consider my name to the hiring manager for the role, by saying " i won't disclose right now you will get to know later" in many of my questions.
It was rather straightforward. First interview with HR, second with audit manager. The audit manager (interviewer) simply read the questions off a paper and jot down my response. They were short of manpower so it was pretty easy to get in.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Bengaluru) in Aug 2022
Interview
The interview process was thorough and professional. It consisted of multiple rounds, including initial screening, technical assessments, and in-depth interviews. The interviewers were knowledgeable and the experience provided valuable insights into the company and role.
