I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Charlotte, NC) in Feb 2021
Interview
Everything was fantastic. I first heard about Grant Thornton during a college career fair. I got to talk with one of the tax associates, and he convinced me that not only GT was wonderful but he truly cared about helping me however he could (he even gave me advice since he was alum from the college I am attending). GT associates are the most genuinely kind people I have ever met, and I felt right at home and knew it was going to be a good fit. I spent all my spare time researching their company and information for the interview because I was so excited.
The interview was virtual because of COVID. Two back to back 30 minute interviews. First was an associate who asked me a couple of behavioral questions. Then, I spoke with a partner. The partner let me ask questions, so I came prepared with over 10 good and lengthy questions that truly helped me learn more. They want to know you are interested, so ask good questions if you are interested! I received an offer in about 1.5 weeks. Very communicative the entire time. Very friendly. Recruiters will do everything to answer your smallest questions.
