I applied online. I interviewed at Grant Thornton in Dec 2015
Interview
Interview process is straight forward. You only have to meet with one high-level interviewer. The interview process in pretty basic in comparison to Big 4 firms, where you have to meet with several individuals for vetting.

Question 1
Please discuss your past experience and how you think you'll be able to add value to the firm.
After the initial application there is a digital interview where you are essentially talking to your laptop which felt a bit weird and impersonal, and since the questions are pre recorded with no follow up questions it can be really difficult to get your personality across. Didn't pass the digital interview but Grant Thornton schedule a call to give you feedback which is helpful, although the woman who spoke to me said 'you were good, but not quite good enough' which wasn't too helpful!
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton in Nov 2016
Interview
Very laid back, all conversational. It was a great overall experience. The people were all incredibly easy-going and nice. The firm really stays true to their core values and demonstrates that throughout the entire interview process. Do not be nervous!
