I applied through college or university. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton in Oct 2016
Interview
100% behavioral. No technical questions about accounting. Rarely talked about accounting to be honest. 1 one-on-one interview on campus, a couple social events, then a 4-5 hour session at an office consisting of two more behavioral interviews/discussions plus and a discussion of the firm culture. Overall, the process was pretty relaxed.

The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton
Interview
Two 30 minute on-campus interviews followed by an office visit the following week. Questions were mostly all behavioral or about my resume. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly through the entire process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Salt Lake City, UT) in Sep 2016
Interview
Grant Thornton didn't communicate well by forgetting to send a rejection letter. I was very glad to not have gotten the offer, due to the incredibly awkward culture. Overall happy it didn't work out.
