I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (New York, NY) in Jul 2016
Interview
I applied to a job posting online. I was contacted the next day by HR and scheduled a phone screening. A week later I interviewed at the office with an experienced manager and the managing partner of the business line. A week later I met with the managing partner of the division. Within a week of that meeiting I had a competitive offer. Entire process was under a month.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Alexandria, VA)
Interview
The interview process was unorganized. Initially, the process went smooth and I received a call that I had gotten an offer. After a couple of weeks I checked up and still didn't receive it. Recently, GT asked me if I was "still interested" and I said yes and I haven't heard back and that was two weeks ago. Their public sector is ok tho lol
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Champaign, IL) in Oct 2015
Interview
A pre-night event and an hour-long in-person interview. It was a pretty straightforward interview talking about my resume and asking about what kind of person I was. The interviewer seemed nice, but the fact that she wasn't in the field I was applying for was a bit weird. She was also a graduate of the University, so I was able to make a connection there. However, I think that may have given bias since she was from the business school and I was an economics student.
