I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Grant Thornton in Oct 2014
Interview
Did on-campus recruiting. I knew some alum that went to my school prior to interviewing and started getting to know the recruiter maybe a year before applying. I was invited to a first round interview at school, pre-event socials, and finally a second round interview at the office which consisted of 3 interviews and lunch with some professionals. On offer day, I got a phone call at 8am from a partner to let me know that I will be receiving an offer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton
Interview
It was awful, spoke with two recruiters, very rude and they just lie. I would be very hesitant to consider employment with this agency. Partners within the company advised me on the troubles within HR and their lack of care. This phone interview resulted in an employee write-up.
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Kansas City, MO) in Nov 2014
Interview
Very casual interview, the questions were basic in trying to judge whether if your a good "fit" for the firm. One on one with the partners at the office locations. Received a phone call for the offer the very next day.
