      Desktop Support Manager Interview

      Jan 21, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Denver, CO
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HCLTech (Denver, CO) in Nov 2013

      Interview

I was contacted by a recruiting company(whom I could barely understand) After a brief phone call from the hiring Manager, who then told me that this wasn't really an management position, more like a Lead position, a face to face was set up. 2 local and 1 remote via video conference. The interview was fairly quick and the questions didn't seem like they were related to the job title. A few days went by and I called the recruiter for a follow up. I was told they wanted to go in a different direction. Almost a month later the recruiter called me to say that after 10 more interviews they wanted to hire me. I found that very strange. After verbally saying I would take the position, i waited 2 weeks for an offer letter. During this time, I had another phone call with the hiring Manger and 2 others at the company that did not identify what they did for the company. Finally the offer was made.

      Question 1

The ease of the questions was unexpected.
