I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at HCLTech
Interview
Having an experience of more than 7 years, I got a call from a recruiter for a tech lead position. I was made to go through the walk-in process, which was a turn off. Anyways proceeded with it. The first written test was of 30 mins and 3 very simple questions were asked. But the written test checkers are severely technical deficient and don't check the solutions by actually coding them. I have written questions in the next section.

Question 1
1. reversing a linked list - didn't bother to write down the recursive solution, a single iteration is enough too(if we take pointer to pointer to head).
2. singleton pattern implementation. nothing wrong in that.
3. difference between const char* p & char const *p
hr round and technical round with manager two rounds of interview . and then hr updates you if your selected or not. the calls occurs within one weeks time. and the hr enquires on current ctc and expected ctc. the hr gives you a clear statement of how the salary will be.

Question 1
prior experience and basic questions related to my profile
The process was an in-person, full-day interview at the HCL office. It began with a hackathon as a group of 5 people, where we designed and developed a complete end-to-end architecture for a delivery application. This was followed by a one-on-one technical interview. A few days later, the HR department reached out and offered me the job.

Interview was normal, basic questions.
Just prepare basics and you can crack the interview.
First you will be asked to introduce your self, then work history, like what did you do in your previous org. Like roles and responsibilities. Then followed by basics of the subject that you applied for.
