Overall, I found the interview process to be unprofessional, tedious, and out of touch. After applying, I got an email with no introduction or context with just a link to a proctored "aptitude test", which was basically a glorified IQ test with questions on topics like analytical reasoning and reading comprehension. The last part of the test was on "general knowledge computer questions", but rather than testing your practical problem solving skills in the style of LeetCode, it was just a bunch of trivia questions. For example, one of the questions was asking what Windows key + M does. Not only this, but they asked me to send a take a picture of me holding my ID to ensure I was who I said I was, which felt like a serious and potentially illegal invasion of my privacy.
So later I get a call saying the position is no longer available, but that there's an entirely different position way below my skillset in another city I could apply to. I immediately declined. To be quite honest, it's very insulting to expect an candidate to invest the time crafting an application and then put them through a mind-numbing IQ/trivia test, only to pull the carpet under their feet and offer them a significant downgrade from what was originally advertised. Overall, I do not recommend applying to this company.
