HCLTech Software Development Engineer interview questions

I am from telecom domain and the job was also for what I was working for. So overall I will say they have a very good hiring procedure. It had 2 technical interviews and one telephonic round and got the call from HR the next day for the salary discussion. I was very impressed with the hiring procedure but the HR was negotiating very much. He offered me a package which was obviously unacceptable. So I denied for the offer. Later after 2 days I got the offer letter also with same package that he told me on call. I don't know why he sent me the offer letter even when I denied to join.
