I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at HSBC (Birmingham, Inglaterra) in Dec 2018
Interview
Straightforward and simple
Very Personal, they want to know about your likes and dislikes more so than what you have done in the past (strength based interviews)
The tasks at the assessment centre were engaging, I had to assess whether a loan should be given to a customer based on the company's financial statements
Job simulation comes before the assesment centre, this allows you to show how great you will be working for HSBC
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why are you a good fit for HSBC? What events in the world economy will affect HSBC's performance in the coming years?
After applying, I was invited to complete an Online Immersive Assessment. It revolved around testing my math skills and how I would handle certain situations. Next, I completed an Online Job Simulation Assessment. It was a digital interview conducted using HireVue. There were prerecorded questions with a set amount of time allotted to the answering of each question.
