Their hiring process is tedious, making you fill tonnes of stuff on the website. No numerical test during the first round of submitting resume and application form, though there were some questions such as "Why HSBC?" etc. I think those answers have to be filled in properly before they will consider reading your CV.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions such as why do you want to work for HSBC? I find this sorts of question very difficult to answer as the only reason I am applying to HSBC, because I'm looking for a job and not because I love the bank so much.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC in May 2022
Interview
Three essential steps: passing of application, assessment exam, and interview
Assessment exam is sent through email and you can answer any time before the deadline. It will only take an hour. Involves values assessment and logic.

Takes quite a while for them to get back. Whole process from applying to interview was over 2 months. Nice people.
