I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC (Pune) in Sep 2025
Interview
The HSBC interview process typically starts with an online application, followed by aptitude, technical, and situational judgment assessments. Shortlisted candidates face video or panel interviews focusing on technical, behavioral, and project-based questions, then an HR round. Final steps include offer release, background verification, and onboarding. It emphasizes both technical expertise (SQL, Python/Java, cloud, infra knowledge) and cultural fit with HSBC’s values.
Interview over the phone with two managers asking about my experiences. The interviewers were friendly and approachable. They asked some technical questions. Also asked personality questions and what I would do in a certain situation
