HSBC Assistant Vice President Risk/Audit interview questions

Interview was fair, met with several people in NYC office after 2 rounds of phone interviews. All interviews went very well, and feedback I received was that I was their best candidate for the role. However, I was told that because I had more experience than one of hiring managers so was told I was overqualified for position.
