I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at HSBC (Shanghái, Shanghai) in May 2015
Interview
One Skype interview and one AC. Skype questions can be found anywhere online. They were very common questions. AC was fun, four interviews in a row, two were motivational, one business, and one case study. Interviewers are nice and easy going. Motivational questions basically replicated the skype interview, and business interview was not technical at all.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC in Nov 2015
Interview
First begin with the online application then immediately they would ask you to do a aptitude test. If you pass the screening they will send a email to schedule a phone interview. Pass the phone interview and you'll be asked about the department that you're interested. Finally there will be a job matching and most of the time you do not get to work in your most preferred department. Still need to have a face to face interview with line manager before offer is made.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC (Londres, Inglaterra) in Dec 2015
Interview
I applied online, did the inductive reasoning and situational judgment test, and was telephone interviewed after 2 weeks, then I received the assessment centre invitation 3 days later. The application process is very efficient and the questions asked during the telephone interview are straight forward.
